Roy and Tim
grew up at a place called Hillcrest between SnakeValley and
Scarsedale . Victoria , Australia .
They have been
preforming music since the age of six both sing and playing guitars .
Their parents
where founders of a local Country music club, and encouraged the boys
to pursue a musical career. they performed throughout their childhood
and teens as an acoustic duo and in a succession
of country bands.
Roy and Tim
parted for awhile , Roy studied and completed a formal education in
classical guitar and composition whilst Tim joined a country band
playing pedal steel guitar and toured the East coast gainin loads of
experience . they got back together in the late 80's performing Rock
until the early 90's when they started playin Country again .
Whilst
preforming at a benefit they were overheard by one of Austalia's
leading country music artist managers , who encourage them to pursue a
serious career in country music . Due to the strength of their harmony
vocals and playing .
It wasn't
long before they started supporting top name Australain country
artists as well as touring U.S artists , and head lining their own
shows .
With serious
recording and publishing interests from with in Australia and the U.S
, and offers to tour Europe and Stateside and an ever growing fan base
. Circumstances led to a separation .
Roy was
invited in 1999 to contribute a song to an international CD release
for airplay and his reproduced work of an earlier release titled Yippi
Yi Ya Cowboys charted across Europe reachin the Country top ten in
several countries ,as well as chartin well in the U.S , though it was
initially considered to country for country ! This led to Roy's
finalist nomination for the prestigious Nashville King Eagle Award .
Tim started
to work on a solo 5 song CD with David Briggs of LRB fame that was
titled Cosmic Hay released 2000, as well as playing in local country
bands
Getting together again 2001 they are
currently recording and producing a new CD of original songs
.
