THE SHACK TAPES - Greg Champion
The Shack Tapes is the latest album from the legendary
singer, songwriter and media personality
Greg Champion.
Greg's songs have come to form part of the soundtrack
of our lives, especially if, like me, you happen to be a bit
a cricket tragic.
The bulk of the album was recorded at a remote beach
shack in Victoria's South Gippsland (hence the title).
Further overdubs (including some stunning electric guitar playing from the equally legendary
Ross Hannaford, ex-Daddy Cool) were laid down at producer Rod McCormack's studio on the
Central Coast of New South Wales.

Noel Parlane
EXPATRIATE New Zealander Noel Parlane has been in Tamworth recording, and has completed his first album this side of the Tasman. Noel's no stranger to the recording studio, having recorded back in New Zealand in the late 1970s. It was after his initial success at the Gore Gold Guitar Awards in 1977 and then again in 1979 that he won a contract with Music World Records and Noel's country career was launched in style. Noel recorded five or six albums with Music World and in
1984 secured a record deal with BMG/RCA, making three albums with that company.

It’s official – the Wolverines have a number #1 hit on their hands – ANGEL EYES.
Country radio has embraced one of Australia’s leading country bands and proven that even though they may look like ‘bad boys’, they’re really angels in bikers clothing.
ACMEC Records would like to thank ALL RADIO & PRINT MEDIA for helping the WOLVERINES achieve #1 with their single ANGEL EYES on the COUNTRY TRACKS TOP 30.

Taken from their new album GOOD TIMES, it has been a heavenly ride on the charts for the boys (Darcy, Chris & John), since the release of the album earlier this year.
May the good times continue to roll.
GOOD TIMES is now available through SANITY and all good record stores.
Jeanette Wormald's new album Opal Blue has delivered its first hit. Her single Boundary Rider's Daughter has entered this week's National Country Tracks Top 30 chart at number 30.

Initial radio feedback from stations across Australia shows strong support for the song and indicators are that it will rise much higher.
album track OK has already made an impact on radio, with OK making ABC Saturday Night Country’s Top 100 Hits for 2005. Carol hopes to continue this success with OK now released as a single, with stations already adding it to their playlists including 4VL Charleville, 4DB Dalby and 98.5FM Shepparton.

Travis Sinclair
Third consecutive Number 1 single, ‘Midnight Run’

Following his highly successful debut album, ‘Rhythm Of The Highway’, Travis Sinclair’s new album ‘RUSH’ has
continued his amazing success, realising three consecutive Number 1 singles on the
Top 30 Country Tracks Chart.

As the winner of the 2005 Australian Independent Artist of the Year Award, 2006 People’s Choice Male Vocal and Album of the Year and 2006 Victorian Male Vocal, the multi award winning artist continues to impress both radio and the public.

“ I knew my debut album ‘Rhythm Of The Highway’ would be a hard act to follow, but I really believed ‘Rush’ was a great album and I am blown away by the success it has enjoyed so far. As an artist it is gratifying to know that people enjoy your music and that a lot of people can relate to the songs you sing.
I really want to thank all those people who have supported my music on radio and also everyone who has come to my shows.
If it weren’t for you none of this would be possible.” – Travis

Col Joye’s latest album “Don’t Give Up” is a country rockin’, honky tonk’n soundtrack of 15 classics with all the elements to create a party atmosphere for all ages.

The uplifting tracks featured on “Don’t Give Up” are a selection of the standards Col makes his own during live performances and includes the original hit “Oh Yeah Uh Huh” as a bonus track.

The effervescent and legendary entertainer believes that music cleanses the soul of the dust of everyday life and this album is guaranteed to put a spring in anyone’s 2-step, dose-e-doh and tush push!
You’ll be singing and dancing your troubles away to “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, “Boot Scootin Boogie”, “Achy Breaky Heart”, “You May Be Right”, “Setting The Woods on Fire”, “Fly Like A Bird” and more.

Since the heady days of early Australian rock n’ roll, Col Joye has made an enormous contribution to the Australian music industry and was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame as part of the first contingent.
He has a swag of other industry accolades including 2 ARIAs, multi Gold and Platinum albums, 4 Mo awards, 3 Logies and a Golden Guitar.

He was the first artist with a # 1 single nationally, the first to have 3 consecutive hits and the first Australian on the American Billboard Charts.

New Releases from Homemade Music
I am a firm believer that life is a journey comprising a series of lessons to be learnt along the sometimes rough and rocky road.
In 1995 I was diagnosed with throat problems which brought about a profound change in my life.
So began another of life’s lessons for me.

My wife Rosemary was receiving remedial massage for back and neck injuries sustained in a car accident. The clinic she was
attending approached me to compose music which would help relax clients. I agreed, not realising at the time just what I was beginning.
The result of associated courses and much study was a collection of nine albums. Seven of these albums is a series of music written
specially for colour music therapy and two for general background listening incorporating the elements of colour music therapy.
We originally released on studio grade cassette, but as the music ranges from forty minutes to an hour of continuous music, this meant
a break in the middle as the cassette was turned over. The financial outlay to press the music to CD was out of the question for our
small home production label.

We have been waiting for technology to advance so we could re-release this special music in the form it was composed.
Now with MP3 we can deliver the seven albums on one CD, nearly five hours of music the way it was originally intended or as individual downloads from Homemade Music.
The Albums ‘The Dreaming’ and ‘Astral Journey’, each over an hour of continuous music will be available on CD or as MP3 download.
You can listen to all the music in streaming audio at www.homemademusic.com.au
All the best
