- Hot on the heels of Dave’s
2007 EP “It’s Just Turned Drinking Time” comes his 2008
EP “The Devil’s New Girlfriend” with another 5 great new
original tracks, showcasing
Dave’s unique and versatile writing and performing style.
The title track “The Devil’s New Girlfriend” is a humorous,
tongue in cheek look at a
mother-in-law and the effect she has on the family. “What You
Learn Out Here” is a
song that talks about family and community values in the bush.
“Country Folk Know How To Party” is a country rockin theme set
in the B&S
community and making the point, they don’t need the city to make
their own fun.
“Malady” is an instrumental written and performed by Nathan
Warrick, Dave’s guitarist.
Kim Ritchie joins Dave in the final song “Picking Up The Pieces”
which is a true
traditional country duet. Kim’s rich voice complements Dave in
this heartfelt love ballad.
In making this EP, Dave was joined by some of Australia’s best
musicians – Nathan
Warrick, Harry Jon Nanos, Dave Moore, The Davidson Brothers
(Hamish & Lachlan),
Jay J Williams, Kinta Dando and Kim Ritchie.
This CD is set to make another impact for this award-winning
artist. Establishing him as a
country music songwriter/performer and making his mark on the
industry with quality
product that will stand the test of time.

Dave is a Country Music Singer/Songwriter from the Victorian
country town of Bacchus
Marsh, just west of Melbourne. With 30 years experience in the
Entertainment Industry,
Dave boasts an impressive resume, which recently included:

Dave is no stranger to being in the limelight fronting
successful touring bands in the past
such as “Dave & Crystal Canyon” the “Razzamatazz Showband” and
the “Spindrift
Showband”. He now works in his Solo Show and at every
opportunity works with guitarist,
“Nathan Warrick” and whenever the opportunity arises, of course,
a cool band line-up.
Working with some of the industry’s top acts or performing on
the same stage over a
number of years, Dave has developed a unique style of
communicating to audiences by
his genuine love of music and people. This has been a full and
rich experience making
Dave the performer he is today.
Dave is currently continuing his busy work schedule performing,
writing, recording and
