brand spanking new CD of toe tappin' toons called 'Live Bait'

GONE FISH'N' are a 4-piece band, hailing from the Sapphire Coast
of New South Wales. The band, who have been described by one music
critic (?) as "Twisted Country Rock 'n' Roll, with a dash of
Reggae" (they describe it as more of a swamp rocking country-reggae boogie-billy),
have been together now for nearly 2 years.

- The "Live Bait" CD consists of 12 songs
culled from the bands' live repertoire, which consists of both
original songs & twisted covers. It was recorded locally at
Turingal Head studio, recording live to tape in the round with no
overdubs in order to present an overview of how the band sound at
a live gig. The boys are very pleased with the way the songs
have turned out & are looking forward to taking their own peculiar
brand of twisted country rock & roll music to the rest of
Australia & beyond. Jan says that had he realized they
would end up with so many good recordings, he would have put more
of his original songs on this CD
- Since the CD was released, Steve Knight has
left the band to pursue a solo career & Dave Crowden has taken his
place on Bass. Dave has brought a vast knowledge of music,
both practical & theoretical, to the band & his particular style
of playing has brought a funkier groove to the bottom end of the
bands' sound. They hope to be playing at a venue near you
somewhere down the line.
