Peter C and the Soul Shakers
-
have been a force in the Sydney rockin’ blues scene for more than
15 years. Wherever they play the venue is pumping, you can’t
help dancing. Pete’s awesome baritone voice melts into the
music. Over the years the line up has evolved and now includes
some of Australia’s best musicians on the NSW north coast where
they are based. Mixed with originals, influences include Eric
Clapton and the Fabulous Thunderbirds. They play a mix of funky
blues, tinged with rocking soul. Playing alongside Peter Claydon
is the award winning blues guitarist Geoff Wright, Dave Sanders
on drums, Ric Crothall on bass with Dave Sandford on keys and
sax … you will be back for more.
