Traditonal Country Music

Some of Larry's favorite singers are Emmylou Harris, Tracy Nelson, Dianne Davidson, Kathy Chiavola, George Jones, Martin Del Ray, Jim Reeves, Eric Andersen, and Jackson Browne.
Born in Gadsden, Alabama, Larry's father was killed in an automobile four months before his birth to the day. Larry began playing guitar at the age of 10, and by age 15 was not only playing and writing songs but was also considered an accomplished pianist. His first performance as a singer was at age 10 at a local theatre in Columbus, Georgia where he grew up. He made his first recordings in 1985 for Trish Records, an Independent Record label in Columbus, Georgia. He cut two singles for Trish Records. Then in 1986, after the death of his mother he lost all interest in recording or performing and the two singles from Trish records were never released. In the late part of 1987 he returned to the studios in Nashville with a contract with JDS Records and cut four singles, and his JDS release "Country Music Never Let Me Down" had independent chart success. He subsequently moved to Nashville. There he created Loree Records. He released his first CD on Loree Records titled The Blue Highway, and recently has completed a New CD titled Out Of The Blue. Larry currently lives in Nashville.
