- Lianne Rose signs with Australia’s
Largest Independent Publisher, Mushroom Music.
Rose,with her debut album due for release in January had not
even finished recording when Mushroom heard her music and
traveled to Sydney immediately to see her performance, opening
for Daryl Braithwaite.
Rose, delivers her unique style of Acoustic slide/Country/Roots
with one heck of a punch, but still remains true to her
traditional love of country.
Opening shows for Shannon Noll, Sarah McLeod, Mondo Rock to
backup singing for Russell Morris, Max Merritt & Stevie
Wright(Easybeats) in 2004, Rose has never stopped traveling and
performing for over 15 years now.
Winner of Outstanding Songwriter, Bush Ballad, Tamworth 1999,
Winner of Musicoz “Country” 2001 and Winner of Canberra Blues &
Roots, Song of the year 2004. Rose is excited and relieved that
hard work truly does pay off. “ I have had a dream for almost 20
years now and I have never given up, this deal has come at just
the right time for me and I feel honoured that Mushroom Music
love my songs!! As a writer this could not be a better match and

Raised on Traditional Country Music, Suzie Quatro & 80’s
pop, Lianne knew her love for music was broad but with one
common thread, quality songs. At just 14 she started performing
her own 4 hour country shows in Hotels, Rodeo’s & Clubs
traveling Australia & New Zealand with Traditional Old Time
Country Shows, playing Accordian, Mandolin, Piano & Guitar then
to Backup singing for the elite of Australian Rock, Max Merritt,
Russell Morris, Normie Rowe & Easybeats, Stevie Wright.
Songwriting is her true passion, with enough songs to write a
book about, of real life experiences encompassing traditional
bush ballad, comedy, country, blues & rock, it is here where
Lianne truly shines & leaves her audience begging for more.
