This song was played at Micks memorial service, at which there was at least 600 maybe more family, friends
and fans in attendance.
 

"Doug Trevor Management and Allied Artists deeply regret to advise that Southbound guitarist Mick Cowdroy passed away at 3:30pm on Monday afternoon 6th October 2003 as a result of the serious injuries he sustained in a car accident last Thursday evening - Mick was 33 years old.
All those who knew Mick loved him as a person, and admired and respected him as a musician - he will be dearly missed.

Our deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones."
 

Annie and Peter Cowdroy believed supporting their sons wish to donate his organs made sense of their tragic loss.  Mike's gift benefited as many as six people.  His parents have also established the Mike Cowdroy Regional and Country intensive-care units (ICU )Trust Fund.
