According to Canadian and European critics, Peter Myles is talented,
energetic, generous and a gifted performer. He electrifies crowds at
each of his shows.
His musical style can be compared to Pop Rock with a delicate touch of
Country Folk, offers a delicious sensation which conveys his wild joy
for music. His mostly Rockabilly approach comes right out from the
50’s and was inspired by the greats of Elvis, Ritchie Valens and the
Stray Cats.
2005
Being the Muscular Dystrophy Canada’s guest for a private concert at
the Bell Centre in Montreal, Peter and the PMP Music team bustles
about the organization of his first European Tour. Thus, from july
14th to 28th, Peter Myles travelled the country roads of France (Pleumeur
Bodou’s Festival, Arizona Paris, Utopia Paris, Billy Bob’s-Euro Disney
Paris) and Luxembourg (Euro Team Country Cup) in order to present the
Breaking the Rules show to the country music passionate. During this
tour, Peter amazes the audience by offering as an encores a few songs
of his new released single Vie! As a scoop, the audience could then
buy the single album that contains 3 songs of which 2 compositions of
Peter and a Joe Dassin’s re-make, the rock country version of: Salut
Les Amoureux!
While the dancers are whirling on the Hit & Run, There Is No Way and
Nickel and Dime choreography, Danny Leclerc ( A Professional Canadian
Country Dance Teacher and Choreographer ) is working on another
wonderful choreography on the popular song: Salut Les Amoureux!
2004
EUROPE discovers the American Rock Country music of Peter Myles. Many
magazines and radio stations has taken an interest for this
phenomenon. The Breaking the Rules’ s album goes round on many radio
stations in Holland, France, Switzerland, Belgium just as Germany and
also find it’s way on many hit parades. In fall 2004, Peter conquered
the French people’s heart while passing through the Festiwoman
Festival in Paris.
2002
Peter Myles also performed with renowned artist such as JEFF SMALLWOOD
and ROCH VOISINE at the Telethon for research into Children's
Diseases, broadcasted by TVA in 2002. He also participated to a fond
raise called “Basics for Baby’s” in Vancouver along with the Canadian
male country artists SEAN HOGAN and RICK TIPPE.
2001
During JASON McCOY’s show at the Ottawa Hall of Congress, Peter Myles
had one more time stolen the crowds heart with his opening act
performance. Then, TQS broadcasted a TV report during the tv show “Les
fils à Papa”. Furthermore, TQS Saguenay invited Peter to rendering
Christmas carol on their Christmas Special : Santa Claus’s Faubourg.
1999-2000
Peter has been the official spokes person for the FESTIVAL WESTERN DE
ST-TITE two years in a row. He was given not one but three “Standing
Ovations” by the charmed crowd for whom he gave a dazzling performance
in the opening of the Canadian male country artist: JULIAN AUSTIN. The
culminated point of his career was undeniably the opening of the
Canadian female country artist TERRI CLARK at Calgary Stampede. It has
been a triumphant success for the beginning of this new millennium.
This same year, in the scope of the launching of the mini-series on
the life of Willie Lamothe, TVA broadcasted a TV report on Peter
during his weekly TV show “Dans la peau”.
