Tamara Stewart

A new year, a new single, a new album....
Tamara Stewart returns to country music....

One of Australia's finest singer/songwriters Tamara Stewart is announcing her return to Country Music. After a well earned break from song writing Tamara is in the process of recording her third album. This album Tamara says will take us back to where "The Way The World Is" left off.

"This is an extremely exciting time for me," Tamara says "I have never been happier or more determined", "This album has been a long time coming, but I just needed a break. Dreaming hard since I was ten years old wore me out! I miss the music, I miss the industry and mostly I miss the country audiences."

Tamara Stewart first came on the country music scene in 2000, with her brilliant debut "The Way The World Is" which went on to earn her the prestigious APRA Songwriter of the Year Award. It also gave a #1 Video on CMT, 3 Top 5 Hits and took her to the UK where she toured in 2001. Not to mention two writing trips to the US in 2001 and then again in 2003.

Her second album - self titled, co produced with the legendary Rick Price, took on a more contemporary feel.

This album Tamara says "I am going back to where it all began for me - writing from my heart and from my country roots. And to be producing it myself has bought a different perspective to my music. My creative juices are overflowing and it's like I have fallen in love with music all over again."

The first single is a country anthem written by Tamara about balancing the responsibilities in a relationship and is simply titled "Drive".

Tamara's unique edgy vocals shine on this track and this diverse singer/songwriter is destined to produce yet another radio hit with "Drive". The single and accompanying video is due to hit radio/tv in late September and the album will follow early 2008.

Tamara Stewart's journey is about to power into full speed as she gets back to where she truly belongs.

............. and the audiences she has missed so much.
