- Tracey Bunn and the Bareback Riders
- A BIG warm GIDDAY to you all! Well as far as the Cowgirls go,
they are well and truly dead in the dust but Gleny and myself have
gone onto our own solo projects and are having the same hoot of a time
but with a whole stack of new people and a bunch of new songs,. Gleny
can be found swinging her way around the country with her new band
Gleny Rae Virus and her Tamworth Playboys. Check them out at
www.glenyrae.com I've been doing a few shows around
Darwin with awesome guitarist Jimi Bonne and have a few larger shows
with a full band under the guise of Tracey Bunn and the Bareback
Riders. You can see my up and coming shows, pics and music at
www.myspace.com/traceybunnmusic

Next week I'll be heading down to visit you Melbourne mob with fellow
Darwinian songstress Leah Flanagan in tow. Check her out at
www.myspace.com/leahfllanagan . We'll be doing a
small series of showcase gigs from Thurs 5th - Sat 7th July at the
following venues:
- Thurs 5th July - Lomond Hotel, East
Brunswick,
- Fri 6th July - Newmarket Hotel, St Kilda,
- Sat 7th July - The Convent (Lentil as
Anything Cafe), Abbotsford,
- We'll have a few special guests with us to give us a hand,
Damien Neil on guitar and Waz Foster on bass. It's been a while since
I've been in good ole Melbourne town but I'm hoping you haven't
forgotten me. I surely haven't forgotten your fabulous Melbourne
hospitality and will be looking forward to catching up with a lot of
you over a few pints of Guinness at the Lomond, a few schooners of
coopers at the Newie and a bottle of red or two at the Convent! This
Northern gal is gonna need a few drinks to thaw her out before she can
sing! I hear it's freezing down there!!! I hope you're all keeping the
music alive by supporting your favourite artists by going out and
seeing them live at your local (or not so local) and by requesting
their songs on your fave radio show. See you on the 5th -7th July!

- Hey all you Cowgirls fans! The Katherine
Muster is almost upon us again, and for those of you who haven't
already planned on getting yourselves here, it's time to roll up your
swag, grab your guitar, throw your esky in the truck and hit the road
to the NT's best festival of country music. The Cowgirls are no longer
together, but Gleny and I are both performing separately with our new
bands so you'll get double the dose of Cowgirl fun PLUS a whole lotta
other fine acts as well. See you there!!!
